Panty & Stocking with Garterbelt

Easily the best anime this season is Panty & Stocking with Garterbelt. Only two episodes in, and already Gainax is flexing their muscle, and showing us what no one else can do. For those who don't know: Panty & Stocking with Garterbelt (PSG), is an amalgamation of Japanese and American art, and style. Without spoiling anything, it shows shades of Cartoon Cartoons, explores American concepts and storytelling, and just has a lot of fun with itself.

Completely unrestrained from episode one, it puts the pedal to the metal and never lets up. The humor is completely obscene, the characters are larger than life, the animation is superb, and the plot is absolutely wild already. This one is still airing, and I highly recommend it.
